I think the words are a clear enough link to Shakespeare; you don’t really need the skull as well.

I disagree.
The (human ) Skull, is there to make the link between bees and humans. The fact that we are connected, and that , in a way the fate of the bees is linked to the fate of humans.

i kinda like this and also agree with the above statement about the link between the fate of bees and humans. I think if you reworked this as some kind of crest it would look nice

About My Design:
again another t shirt for bee awareness
without bees ( and they are disappearing from our world) more than 50 % of food crops wouldn’t be pollinated.
The (human) skull, in the bees hand is a reference to MacBeth and the famous line “to be or not to be”.
if we loose the bees people will soon follow
