Great work sara, It is appreciated to an independant thinker however, being flexible towards others and making use of their experiences is also a great reward if a person can have. Hope that independant thinkers are never one-word Persons, i.e. just insisting on their own ideas and words and rejecting others constantly

looks good, however i feel this design style is getting overused, i’ve done it myself. It seems to have all sprouted from Si Scott. Don’t get me wrong he’s fantastic but he has given birth to this wave of Si immitation and i fear this design may belong in there and thus makes your statement ‘independant thinker’ kind of contradictory, as its not a very independant design style =/ sorry to be a b*stard, im just giving my opinion.

Hi there Adam!
You are right about Si Scott. I absolutely love his work and I must say my work here was inspired by his .I also agree with your opinion to a certain extent but by “Independent Thinker” I was thinking of opinions and state of mind rather than design. This is also fashion related therefor it has to be appealing visually and something one would be comfortable to have printed on their Tshirt. In the end design is somehow about recycling and coming up with different versions nowadays.
p.s you are not a b*stard you just stated your opinion

love the way you’ve turned some letters around. I also agree with grinsoniko about the flow. I am looking at everything. Moving around the design, and not sure where to stop- but in a good way. Yes, I see the words, but they are part of the overall design, and not just a slogan or afterthought. Great Job!

I couldn’t disagree more, yes we all get inspired by stuff but recycling other peoples work into a different direction isn’t going to move the graphic industry anywhere, nobody would ever break the mould if that were the case. Joseph Muller Brokman didnt recycle his grid systems and David Carson didn’t create magazine layout based on other magazines.
Inspiration - yes
Recycling - no

About My Design:
I am not a COPYCAT!
Many times have I engaged in conversation with people who have absolutely no clear mindset of their own. They are encouraged to follow the mindset of their parents, the media their friends or simply what happens to be fashionable at the time. Thus when confronted with an issue, they see, think and judge according to that mindset. Independently thinkers refuse to follow others. They would rather investigate, establish facts and reach conclusions on their own!
