Good message, but I’d find a way of saying it without the black text as that distracts from the design. Overall don’t think it really works as a T-shirt design, maybe a poster.

powerful quote. good use of colors....maybe if the black writing was on the back it wouldn’t distract so much?

About My Design:
Created this a while back, but just found Artevist so I thought I would share. An email from a friend in Burma (Myanmar) prompted me to create something to help promote awareness of the situation after the “Saffron Revolution” in August 2007. Used tightly leaded and kerned Helvetica text to present quotes from Aung San Suu Kyi in red to mimicked the red field of Myanmar’s flag, ending in blood splatters to reflect the violent suppression of the demonstrators.
