Food job. The subtle bird really knocks the message home. The splats around the maple leaf are perfect. Plus, your song is very apt.

Very cool. You could even do the leaf/bird all on its own and write “Oil Canada” in a splatter pattern - made so popular by CSIs.

Something about the oil drums bugs me, though I get they make the flag. Maybe liek frefee says just do the bird bigger.

I get what your saying LAX747. It would look good just with the leaf and bird, but and there’s always a but, I like the oil drums. But, I’m considering doing a version as you and FreFee suggest.
