This is really cute. It would make a great kids T-shirt.
But now what about the Japanese? I think we also need a real hard-hitting, in your face design saying “this whale “research” stuff is a load of crap!!!”

I’m from Australia. and the Japanese thing is that greenpeace is urging australia to help it by sending out ships to protect the whales because the Japanese are getting ready to hunt them for their “research.”

This could be a fun t-shirt, but you would have to “spruce it up”.
I suggest you do this in Illustrator or another vector software to perfect the drawing 
The type needs some tweaks on the kerning also…
And am I the only one that would like to see designs on t-shirt models? Where does this go on the shirt?

I think DzynGurl is onto something there. This is a really nice design, I like it, but it reminds me of all the save the whale, save the pandas tigers, etc of 10 years ago. It’s all very nice and good, but the hard facts are that many thousands are still being killed. I guess I like my messages a little more in-your-face. If your cute whale had a harpoon in him… yeah that might do it for me. LOL

Perhaps in time we’ll add functions so that artists can indicate where their designs would actually go on a T-shirt. That’s something we’ll look into once we get more members on board. Of course, the majority of designs sit centrally on a T-shirt and it’s usually the ones that don’t that artists will go to the extra effort to place on a template.
I hope for now that this completely open, design submission format will satisfy all users.

yeah, after submitting it i realised it wasnt perfect and kinda too happy, and i fixed it on the original design. And for where I would put it, I’d probably put it just on the chest area.

About My Design:
there was a story on the news that the Japanese are getting ready to hunt whales. “Japan is planning to kill 935 minke whales, 50 fin whales and, for the first time in 40 years, 50 humpback whales this summer season under its so-called research program.”
by reading that article i was inspired to make this design
