great design, I really like the image, and I think you could just leave the text away. It doesn’t give too much additional information on the subject, but makes the design unbalanced. Or maybe you could use “Let your ideas grow”, it sounds more concentrated, more straightforward to me.
But it’s a nice design as it is, so just ignore my comment, if you don’t agree

Nice, and I’d go with green, but I’d make it much smaller maybe positioning it off centre.

About My Design:
Overall, I think this design represents just how much one person can do by doing something simple. The idea of recycling is so much more than just “reusing”; It is appreciation and respect for our planet, our resources, our most importantly our environment. For example, the more paper recycled, the more can be reused in production, the less trees can be cut down. Its a simple idea that grew into something more.
Design:
I tried to keep it simple, so it uses basic graphic shapes available to everyone. The font is Kiev and the design was done using Photoshop Elements.
Shirt:
I also show two other colors here for variety, but my preference (as usual) is the green!
