I think you are mixing real liberties like gay rights and uncensored information with the right to kill yourself and to kill others and that’s not liberty at all.
Tobacco ban refers to the liberty of your fellow humans not to inhale the chemicals you want to smoke. Talking on cell reduces driver attention and maximizes the risk of accidents, wich most of the times result on collateral victims. These are not liberties, there are “stupidties”, mate

I’m not saying Trans-fat foods are a good thing.. I’m saying it should be a persons choice… thats liberty.

21% of the country smokes… I agree with what you said meno but I believe the establishment should have the choice of whether or not smoking is allowed inside. That way people can choose if they want to go inside a smoking or non-smoking establishment.. thats liberty.

This isn’t a mixed message.. I’m not saying don’t smoke cigarettes but inhale nicotine.. that’s a mixed message. It is simply a list of things banned or illegal or about to be banned.. they are all different things. Should I make a design with the same message repeated over and over? Offensive books banned, Offensive material banned, offensive literature banned, etc. They are all the same thing.

I see it as a mixed message too. Some things are banned because they physically harm others - that makes good sense to everyone but right-wing libertarians. Banning smoking indoors protects the health of non-smokers, accepting same-sex marriage doesn’t hurt other marriages. Banning talking on a cell phone while driving means fewer accidents - it protects other drivers from the jerk on the cell. But unless the book incites people to violence, then banning a book just stops communication - it doesn’t do anything but block freedom.

Yeah, if we hadn’t banned DDT and Asbestos in the US, our freedom-loving corporations would still be gladly selling it to anyone who would buy… they still do in the 3rd world.

I like the typographic concept but i think a bespoke typeface would work more to your advantage instead of using a standard downloaded display font, makes things look a bit monotonous

You seem to confuse state laws with American laws. Besides, some of the issues on the flag infringe on other people’s rights, like the right to breathe clean air and a health department that promotes health.

About My Design:
So many of our basic right have been violated. When a government can tell you what foods you can and can’t eat and what books you can and can’t read… liberty and freedom are gone. Are we on the verge of a police state? America the Free??
