I dont really get it.
I think this would be so much stronger with just the bike alone.

yeah in a way. there is certainly an relationship between these modes of transport since they co-habitate the street. its like yin/yang. look in any street and see that cars currently dominate the scene - so it’s not a balanced relationship. the artwork presents the bike at the forefront “stomping down the car”.

About My Design:
cars are such a currently such a dominant form of transportation many of us can’t even begin to imagine an alternative. the design utilizes the imagery of the mundane street sign format with an unlikely image of a car being usurped by a bike. it represents the paradigm shift in transportation that i would like to see. go ride a bike!
