might you get into trouble with the company logos… thought i read on here something about not using them… of course i think it would be cool if mr. bear were actually shitting on them.

Looks great! yeah, it would be copyright infringement to reprint the company logos on tee shirts that are for sale though, great concept!

Yes, unfortunately we could get into trouble if we produced this design because of the logo issue. In this case we’d have 5 sets of lawyers after us.
We decided to put it up though because it’s such a great concept that we’ve never seen before, and the artwork is pretty fine too. We thought it would probably invite a lot of comment and inspiration so we’ll just see what happens. Thanks addsenior.

Just change the logos a bit so that they remind of the brand only, like turning the shell into another type of shell, changing the bp flower to circles…
Then it should be a OK for copyrights

heh, thanks a lot guys. if it was to be printed i was planning on altering to logos (as suggested by menosketiago) so we’ll see what happens, thanks for the nice comments and big thanks to Artevist for actually being brave enough to put the artwork up

I don’t know, those are pretty recognizable still to me. I’m sure a trademark lawyer would have no problem building his case. lol
But I really like the concept, just think the flag part doesn’t work… but how you can show bears shitting on oil corp. though is a cool concept.

That’s so awesome, it actually looks great with the few colors and I’m sure it was amazing full color. Great concept.

About My Design:
5 of the biggest fuel companies on the planet contribute on a massive scale to the effect of global warming, making the ice-caps melt and thus endangering the polar bear, I wonder how the bears feel towards these companies…
Created on Adobe Illustrator CS3 - all drawn with pen tool - had to reduce a lot of colour content to meet the maximum 7 colour requirements (originally full colour on all logos and more highlights on the bears). A lot more detail is visible on larger scale (hence the enlargement) - but restricted by the 500x500px image size.
