Took me some seconds to remember that was mac’s equivalent to ctrl LOL
Considering the ammount of regular joes who never even touched a amc in their lives and those who still prefer using pc’s it kind of narrowing your target…
But I like the design a lot :D

yeh that ‘number of average joes’ point did cross my mind when creating this but i thought ‘ah sod it’ apple mac is on the increase and is far more ‘trendy’ than PC rival. I personally think having a design you have to look at twice and think about or not everybody gets makes it feel a little more unique or individual. just my point of view.

Not being a designer I didn’t really get it at first. Could replace with a delete key, but that seems kind of tired. I’d work something new with the ice idea.

We don’t give a beep about trendy or not. That particular mac argument is just annoying. Dumb people fall for trendy stuff, responsible people consider other values.
Your message doesn’t come across. If you count on designers and mac users to change the world without any average joes in the lot you might have to wait for a while.

sounds like somebody has a firework up their ass. If you make something appealing and although i hate to the word ‘trendy’ more people will buy it. that’s the whole point to having a nice aesthetic on a t-shirt. You cannot pigeon-hole society into dumb people and responsible people who is to say that responsible people don’t also take into account fashion trends and ‘trendy’ stuff. I submitted this design for the sake of getting feedback on my designs and networking with other designers. People i have shown this design to in the professional design industry do understand this idea because they use industry standard programs like adobe illustrator and are familiar with keyboard shortcuts. im not getting ‘shirty’ and defending my design to the grave i just believe that this message is justified to the creative arena of graphic design, at the end of the day - each to their own.

great idea. don’t you think the keys are immensely huge? this would work great if you significantly reduced their size

this is absolutely perfect.it hits home for every dsigner. there isn’t a designer in the world that doesn’t think they are hilarious when they try to “apple(command)-z” something. aesthetically it will attract more than just designers, but don’t underestimate the power designers have. even if it is merely encourageing the interest and passion of designers, it is putting the message out there one more time. someone will ask what it means...and hullo. its an iceberg: how could it not be seen as an abvious statement about the icecaps melting.
*the keys do seem too large.
