As I recall poaching of wild elephants was dramatically reduced in these last decades, the problem nowadays is that the natural reserves created innapropriate for an animal that walks thousands of miles in search of water and food, meaning a bounded territory will never be enough to save the elephants just by itself…
The major problem now is with local populations and their crops, which elephants usually raid (obviously driven by hunger). That’s a real problem sice you cannot ask these people to starve, but there are solutions if there is will.
Nice design

About My Design:
I decided to enter this into the “Picture Extinction” quite frankly because I love elephants. I find it terribly sad that still today poachers hunt these majestic animals in the wild, and very little is done to stop it. Basically that is the point of the message, “Who will save me now?” Will it be you?
I created this design in Photoshop CS3.
