The company name it’s unecessay, es+ecially because it’s only one of the many oil companies… makes it look like a personal vendetta against this one instead of a global message.

Hey Shockvalue… this is the old Sherwin Williams logo, so not very original of you I’m afraid. Besides, I don’t think many people out of the US know what GOP means.

I was driving yesterday and saw this exact same logo with different colors and words on a Sherwin Williams (paint company) truck. Here is the website. Not a very good idea if you ask me. http://www.sherwin-williams.com/

Hmm, you people don’t seem to realize that he KNOWS it’s the SWP logo, I’m pretty sure he is taking a well know icon, and using it creatively to make a political/environmental statement.
As for very original? I beg to differ; I actually think it’s rather clever. For you thousands of artevist users from outside the united states, GOP stands for grand old party, it’s the republicans (the one’s who invaded Iraq for it’s oil)

The issue for me isn’t the concept… that’s good… it’s the creativity quotient. At lest re-draw it and put your own talent into it.

About My Design:
We are drowning our planet, almost to the point of saturation. When every rolling hill and serene body of water is tainted with the blackened sludge of our addiction, there will be no redemption.
Peak oil has not been reached, if we can recognize our problem and move away from certain demise there is still a chance to undo the damage we did to the planet. By standing up against the tyranny of the oil titans we can spread awareness and change, thus preventing the suffocation of humankind.
