We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

Frame Lines: A Thinking Mag for Global Artists & Activists

An Aussie online arts pub. we found through one of our members and Facebook.

We love finding out about new initiatives by other like-minded arts lovers around the world. Frame Lines came to us via one of our members Kaoskyane and a Facebook group – a site that is proving to be a good place for activists and artists to connect.

In their own words: “Frame Lines is a free magazine and Non-Profit organisation dedicated to showcasing the best creative work including art, design, writing, photography, poetry, illustration, music and much from around the globe. We aim to enliven the senses, stimulate the mind, and provoke discussion about the diversity in the world in which we live.”

There’s a real activism inspired arts theme to the work that is being contributed (four editions so far) mixed with a bit of Aussie surf culture, which makes for a great read and a visual feast. Plus, the online magazine viewing application works very well.

Subscription to Frame Lines is free, and artists of all types are invited to submit work. They’re still very new so we wish them well and hope that some Artevist members will get involved.

We’re very pleased to announce that Artevist has been featured in the latest edition of Frame Lines magazine. Edition #6 “Fashion - The Face of Culture” is viewable now online at the Frame Lines website. We’re on pages 42-45.

Thanks Everyone at Frame Lines.  This edition, like all the previous ones, looks fantastic!
