We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

If you know of similar websites from around the world, let us know as we'd like to include more - just Contact Us.

Activist T-shirt Design Contest Revived: “Tarred & F*ck!d”

It was just too good a contest and so far the T-shirt designs received are awesome!

We always thought our "Tarred & F*ck!d" contest was a great idea. After all, isn't the plight of migratory birds, and the impact massive, dirty-oil exploitation in Canada is having on that country and the world, an important topic?

We think it is, but maybe it was a good idea too soon, as when we launched it we weren't getting as many visitors as we are now, so didn't reach a critical mass of designs and voting... though the few we did receive are really, really awesome.

So we've decided to give this little contest another chance and have extended it till the end of August. There are already some great designs in the running, and we hope to see some more before time is up.

So vote, vote, vote and if you're a designer, check out the contest description here.
