We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

The Behance Network is one of our favourite websites – a real showcase for great designers from around the world. It’s also a place to find artists that want to make a difference through their work. One of those is Rishi Sodha from London, UK, who is passionate about the role of design in advancing the cause of human rights and has even established a nonprofit organization: Designers Against Human Rights Abuse (DAHRA). See his Behance Network Portfolio for more on his work.
A recent email from Rishi brought to our attention this video, done for the Human Rights Action Center. This organization works on several human rights initiatives worldwide, including the campaign to have governments print the Declaration of Human Rights in passports. They have a special focus on Burma.
The video was created by Seth Brau of Brooklyn, NY, who among other things, creates really cool, hand-painted VANS footwear. Visit Seth’s website and check out ‘Five Three Footwear’. The video was produce by Amy Poncher with music by Rumspringa. The highest quality/format English version of the video can be seen on the Human Rights Action Center website. Spanish and Icelandic language versions can be found at Seth’s Vimeo website.

Nice work, especially considering it was probably done for free or very little money. My only thing would have been to vary the type a little, but that’s getting picky.
