GRIST ENVIRONMENTAL NEWS
We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

Don’t wash your tee!

I saw an article a while back about some Scandinavian (think it was Norway) study that found that the material that clothes are made from has a relatively small impact on C02 production compared to the CO2 produced after manufacture reuired to wash it. Seems the biggest contribution consumers can make to reducing CO2 is to install a clothes line. Nothing like the smell and feel of a fresh air-dried tee!
