 GRIST ENVIRONMENTAL NEWS

We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

One of Artevist's friends from Facebook, Gustavo Machado, brought this amazing artist and his work to our attention.

Frans Krajcberg is a Brazilian artist (Polish born) who has dedicated much of his recent life to the preservation of the Brazilian rainforest. He uses its raw materials in his art to bring attention to its plight. He's well known in his home country and has exhibit around the world, but his work has only recently begun to attract a wider international following as public consciousness surrounding environmental issues grows. Here are some links. Thanks Gustavo!

"All that is born on this planet has the right to live on it." - Frans Krajcberg (1921- )
