 GRIST ENVIRONMENTAL NEWS

We really like Grist.org out of Seattle, WA. It's a little skewed toward US content, but still has something for everyone, and their writing style is spot on.

If you know of similar websites from around the world, let us know as we'd like to include more - just Contact Us.

Recession is going to hit graphic artists hard again.

Well the bad thing is there will probably be lots of designers out of work. We’re always the first to suffer and I’m sure agencies will soon start feeling the pressure to reduce costs.

But on the other side, the world, especially the U.S., has been on a free ride for years and now it’s paying the price for living large.

Maybe this is the first of what will probably be many wake up calls that the concept of growth is outdated and damaging.

Very true I’m afraid. I’ve already had one writing contract put on hold because the company is “waiting to see what happens”.

You don’t need a client to make a crop circle, all you need is an audience! Money like time isn’t real and in 100 years (paradox) from now this may make sense ? wink

CERN has all the answers, they just won’t let us know!
